When visiting Ascend, please be aware that there is a shared car park directly outside the building. This car park is used by all businesses on the premises and can become busy at peak times. The car park is privately owned and managed (not by Ascend) with Parking Eye enforcement via ANPR cameras.
You have 30 minutes free in the car park, and up to 3 hours once you have registered your vehicle on arrival. Please make sure you register your vehicle at reception and note your entry time, as Ascend cannot be held responsible for any fines issued by the third-party operator.
Pricing
Our session pricing is based on off-peak and peak times, with options designed to keep families together and spaces safe.
Off-peak sessions run during quieter weekdays and selected times.
Peak sessions apply at weekends, school holidays, and high-demand periods.

The Game grid
Prices are per room, not per player. 1. Do I need to book in advance?
Yes. All sessions at Ascend must be booked online in advance — this includes: Ascend (Climbing Walls) Game Grid (Interactive Floor & Laser Games) The Core (Soft Play) Bumblebee Hollow Although you can walk in, spaces are limited and managed carefully for safety and a space can not be guaranteed. We can also not add late attendants to sessions that have already started. Changes & cancellations: Bookings can be amended or cancelled up to 48 hours before your session by contacting us. Within 48 hours: Unfortunately, we cannot refund or transfer bookings cancelled after this point.
2. What ages are the sessions suitable for?
Our activities are designed for different age groups — please also check our opening times, as every activity runs on set sessions. Bumblebee Hollow: up to 5 years old. The Core (Soft Play): up to 10 years old or 4ft9. Ascend (Climbing Walls): ages 5+ with adult supervision. Game Grid (Interactive Floor & Laser Games): ages 5+. Adults: welcome to join in climbing and games too. All children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
3. Can adults take part?
While we encourage adults to join in and play alongside children, Ascend is a family-focused centre. As such, we do not accept standalone adult bookings. Adult-only sessions will be introduced after hours at a later date. Any bookings made for adults without accompanying children will be cancelled without refund. Any adult-only groups who arrive on-site without children will be refused entry, and no refund will be issued. This policy is in place to ensure a safe, welcoming, and appropriate environment for all families.
4. Do you have food and drink on site?
Yes. Our Basecamp Café serves freshly prepared meals, snacks and drinks. We cater for dietary needs — please let our staff know on arrival. Outside food and drink is not permitted (except for baby food or allergy-specific items). For parties, we offer children’s pizza, chips and chicken bites.
