Little Thursday Talks & Play at Ascend Oswestry combines fun toddler play sessions with valuable support for parents and carers. Enjoy a relaxed morning where little ones can play while guest experts share short talks, practical tips, and advice on topics such as sleep, weaning, child development, SEN support, and family wellbeing. A great chance to connect, learn, and chat in a welcoming space.
These expert sessions are inlcuded in standard weekday pricing, no additional cost

Expert support and practical advice for parents on feeding, weaning, and early years development.

Bluey Fun Day
Friday 1st May 10AM-12PM
Join us at Ascend Oswestry for a Bluey Fun Day packed with themed activities, play, games, and family fun inspired by everyone’s favourite blue heeler. A perfect day out for little fans with plenty of smiles, adventure, and special surprises.
What’s included?
• Bluey-themed crafts & activities
• Favourite games (Magic Xylophone anyone?)
• Special character visit + photo opportunities
• A little treat for every child
Aimed at under 6s. All ages are welcome, however activities and gifts are tailored to younger children.

Lights Out Battle Royale
Tuesday 26th May 6PM-8PM
Step into the arena for a Fortnite-inspired Nerf battle under neon lights at Ascend Oswestry.
Hosted in The Core, this action-packed event begins in the lobby where you’ll choose your side and plan your strategy — Core Ice or Core Foundation.
Take on challenges, battle in teams, and fight for victory in this high-energy showdown. Only one side will come out on top.
Please note:
• You are welcome to bring your own Nerf blaster, however these must be single-shot only.
• You are also welcome to bring your own bullets. These will be counted and marked on entry.
• Recommended for ages 6–10. Younger guests are welcome, but please be aware of the style of activity. Participation for younger children is at parental discretion.
Got little adventurers under 5? Step into Toddler Town, a magical mini-world of play designed just for them. Safe, fun, and packed with imagination.
